What Goes Up, Must Come Down

It’s clear that investor confidence in the tech industry has taken a turn, perhaps more-so in the edTech sector. News of layoffs have come rolling in from start-ups like Eruditus, Section4, Frontrow, Esme Learning, Hopin and more. But this shift isn’t necessarily a bad thing. While edTech start-ups may not be experiencing the rapid growth of the past three years, this could be the best time to test the real validity of their value proposition.

Educators and L&D teams still need technology to implement strategic learning outcomes in-person & online. A changing workforce is still in need of remote up-skilling. In the months to come market demand will influence which edTech solutions hold long term potential.
