Debug Summit reminds me how much I miss live events

Earlier this week I lead a session for young and experienced professionals to explore areas (like EdTech and FinTech) that are quietly growing and learn how we all have transferable skills to make a mark in tech.

It was so fun and reminded me just how much I miss talking and hanging out with other people with similar interests. We don't talk about #blkgrlswurld Zine much here at edCircle. But before the pandemic I spent most weekends touring books events on the east coast to meet with readers and sell copies of our magazine in person. It's wild to think back to just how much used to run around NYC. I hope to join more events like this in the future, even if they're virtual.

A recording of our talk will be up for awhile here >

🌈 Lesbians Who Tech continues to be the largest gathering of queer, non binary & trans professionals in tech here in NYC. If you're interested in tech jobs, check out their resources & job board online.🙌🏾
